About Us
Brendan Lynch
Brendan has spent the last fifteen years working on sustainability issues as a journalist and activist, and developed and marketed sustainable products for commercial application.
Six years ago, Brendan noticed that school student hydration needs had changed. Students wanted attractive, clean drinking water facilities, including somewhere to fill their water bottles. Schools wanted water-wise, tough, long-life student drinking systems. To meet these needs, Brendan formed Waterford Trading Australia P/L and coordinated the development of the aquabubbler fountain taps and range of drinking fountains for schools and public places.
Before aquabubbler, Brendan piloted the establishment of a sustainability centre in Fremantle – FERN – a non-profit community organisation dedicated to sharing knowledge about living sustainably. In previous roles he worked for World Wildlife Fund as the South-West Australian Eco-Region Coordinator, and for Greenpeace New Zealand as communications manager, and has reported on business innovation for business newspapers in New Zealand.
Brendan brings with him strong networking and communication skills, practical know-how, and a passion to provide affordable, sustainable hydration solutions for public places.
Brendan has a Bachelor of Resource Management degree in town planning and human ecology.
